Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie who had a brawl with controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo over Gambian president has urged Nigerian Christians to come out and support Apostle Suleman for speaking on their behalf. The mother of one wrote; ‘ The DSS has invited Apostle Johnson Suleman to appear before the Abuja office for interrogation by 10am on Monday 30/1/17. “Let every Christian come out in a procession to accompany Apostle Suleman to the DSS office. He spoke for us all. “We stand against the shameful silence of Nigerian government over killing of Christians in Nigeria; intimidation/ harassment of the church with state security agencies and the Islamic Agenda of this regime.’

Nigerian artiste, Harrysong who was arrested yesterday by former record label, Five Star Music group has been released.

The men of the Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 65-year-old man, Alosuposo Louis, for allegedly defiling two minors, aged 10 and eight respectively. The police said the suspect was arrested following a complaint from the mother of one of the victims at the Ayetoro Police Division.

Mrs Ada Ugo-Ngali, the Managing Director of Ontario Oil and Gas Ltd, was on Thursday sent to jail for 10 years for defrauding the Federal Government of N754 million in oil subsidy transactions. Justice Lateefa Okunnu handed down the verdict, the first conviction since the massive oil subsidy fraud trial allegedly perpetuated by oil marketers began in 2012. Walter Wagbatsoma, Ugo-Ngadi’s co-defendant and the Chairman of Ontario Oil and Gas Ltd, was absent in court for the judgment. After pleading guilty to stealing, a 28-year-old man, Isamila Babalola was on Tuesday remanded in prison on the orders of an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court. Babalola, of no fixed address, is standing trial on a one-count charge of stealing. According to Prosecutor Eruada Victor, the accused committed the offence on Jan. 22 at the Sunday Market in Ogba, Lagos state.

A Ghanaian woman, Nana Ago Prah, and her three children ages 3, 7 and 8 were killed in a house fire which occurred at their home in Helsinki, Finland on Dec 9th.
