Andy Murray set for possible Australian Open quarter-final meeting with Roger Federer
Andy Murray is on a collision course with Roger Federer in Australia after the pair were drawn in the same quarter of the draw for the first Grand Slam of the season.
Murray, the World No 1 and top seed in Melbourne, will open up his Australian Open campaign against Ukraine's Illya Marchenko.
Seventeenth seed Federer, who has dropped in the rankings after a knee injury ended his 2016 season in July, will be Murray's opponent in the last eight if the pair win their opening four matches.
Murray is aiming to win in Australia for the first time in his career after being beaten in the final five teams previously, once to Federer and four times to Novak Djokovic.
